Our winery
As winegrowers we believe that nature is pure, hence both in the vineyard and the cellar we support its processes without using chemicals. At Gyukli Vinery, over the years, we have been putting emphasis on the preservation of the sustainable good condition of the plantations, the careful selection of the grapes fitting the crop land, and the reduction of the ecological footprint caused during farming.
In a sense, producing our wines is taking responsibility of our environment and health; and it becomes obvious during the tasting that ecological farming is the one and only way in the long run. The unique combination of the endowment of the Balatonfüred - Csopak wine region and the potential of chemical-free viticulture appear in our wines year after year.

Gyusecco 2023
A lightly sparkling wine which gives a beautiful mixture of fragrances to the nose. The Muscat characteristics of the grape variety become really playful due to good acidity. In 2008, Gyukli Vinery was the first in the region to introduce a beautiful quality sparkling wine for the consumers. We have been experimenting with several wines but Irsai Oliver has proved to be the most appropriate and best. Served cold this wine is not only the wine of feasts but also an ideal match for gastronomic adventures and nice conversations.

Ruby color. Ripe plum appears on the nose, followed by dried sour cherry, oxidative style with some developement. fresh acidity, accompained by high alcohol, dried notes, rosehip jam and slightly drying with medium long finish.

With a yellowish-green colour, ideal acidity and outstanding mineral composition typical of the wine region, this wine packs a powerful punch, lingers wonderfully on the palate, yet it is light. For us, “Olaszrizling” is the type of grape which is like a masterly made musical instrument. A lot of practice and experience is needed to play it, but if someone learns to play this reliable instrument, he can play the various tunes of Riesling from the September romantic music via the October pop, to the November rock opera.
Bio Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Sparkling silvery colour, slowly opening, minty, cool, slightly spicy nose with grapefruit. The palate almost explodes with varietal character, pure exotic fruit, ripe grapes and green herbs. Restrained alcohol, rich acidity, long and delicious.
Sauvignon is a unique wine with fine acidity and easily recognizable flavours of elderberry, grass, nettle and hay. Sauvignon Blanc is the only one of the world’s varieties which is considered to be an aromatic white wine. This wine is so unique and characteristic that it has been an ideal match for a lot of dishes for centuries.
Grandioso - Kékfrankos Merlot Cuvée 2021
Our Grandioso will be produced only in years with excellent growing conditions. The bunches of Kékfrankos and Merlot are ripened on mediterranean slopes then carefully selected and harvested by hand. This wine is elegant, it has a full texture on the palate followed by spicy characters along with silky tannins and a long, smooth, balanced finish.
